Nautical Nights Bed and Breakfast, in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York, offers its guests gorgeous accommodations in close proximity to a wide variety of activities and attractions. Nascar fans will be thrilled by how close we are to the International Race Track in nearby Watkins Glen, NY. The following directions and maps should provide all that you need to find your way to us.
Route 14 runs north to south along the west side of Seneca Lake, right in the middle of upstate New York. Follow Route 14 along the lake until you reach Locust Road (on the “lake side” of the road, roughly 13 miles north of Watkins, about 24 miles south of Geneva). Look for the 5’ Sea Captain in the bright yellow slicker holding our sign!
Once you turn off Route 14 onto Locust Road, go straight ‘till you “cain’t go straight no mo”! At the bottom of the hill (roughly 1/2 mile from Route 14) you will bear right. Locust Road ends in our garage so you can’t go too far! We have ample parking for 3 cars to your left, just after the yellow cottage.
Please keep in mind that Seneca Lake was formed by a glacier plowing a deep furrow in the earth which filled with sparkling fresh water. To build a road from Route 14 to the waters edge and Nautical Nights required dynamiting through layers and layers of rock. Therefore, our scenic road is not very wide and quite steep near the end. Please drive very slowly.
Allow me to reassure the faint of heart. We have not lost anyone on the road yet!
