“Breathtaking Views + Wonderful Food!”
Spent a weekend at the B&B in the jacuzzi room. The layout and design of the entire house is amazing. It is right up on the water, with floor to ceiling glass on the walls so each room has a full view of the lake. It was amazing to fall asleep to the sounds of the water, and wake up to the sunrise over the lake. There's also a kayak for guests to explore the lake.
The place was very clean, and the hosts were very hospitable. Machelle, Brad and Spirit (resident dog) were all very friendly and made you feel at home. Machelle makes an awesome breakfast; with tremendous homemade biscuits!
We are definitely planning on returning here for another trip. Its a great spot to get away from city life, and just relax.

“The Fingerlakes Little Caribbean Cove”
My boyfriend and I have been meaning to write about our stay for months at Nautical Nights which was absolutely wonderful. We've frequented many beautiful B&B's and we admit that Nautical Nights outshines them all! The hostess truly made us feel at home directly from the moment she greeted us. The setting has breathtaking "up close and personal " views of Seneca Lake, you feel like your intoxicated by it's beauty. The rooms are superbly clean with warm tasteful decor that give you a feeling of being at a quaint shore home on the coast of Cape May NJ encompassed with the peacefulness of the waters of the Caribbean. We are both in our early thirties and sometimes B&B's can be a bit "stuffy" we were pleasantly surprised by the breath of fresh air we received both from our hostess and from the lovely surroundings of Nautical Nights. We plan to return this year in 2008 for our 2 year anniversary in June and yes we are choosing Nautical Nights over a private villa in St Lucia as we did last year. You will not be disappointed here!

“Wonderfully relaxing”
Great B&B to stop at while touring Seneca Lake's great wineries. We had the jacuzzi room, which was fabulous. Every morning you wake up facing the lake and it's breathtaking. I want to go back every year! The hostess makes a delicious breakfast, but while you are touring the lake, make sure to stop at Dano's Heuriger for a nice lunch. Its on the Northeast side of the lake.

“Paradise”
Our stay at Nautical Nights was absolutely fabulous. From the rooms (since we stayed in both Tiny Bubbles and the Salmon Room), to the view ,to the food, everything was incredible. Every night we would fall asleep to the sound of Seneca Lake. We never slept so hard in our lives. We were almost late for the 9:00 a.m. breakfast. Machelle, her husband Brad and the lovely dog Torey were all so gracious and hospitable. They made you feel right at home and they made their home feel like your own. We will definitely be going back next year. If I knew how to add photos, I would show you the beautiful sunrise we viewed, Torey and the beautiful breakfast set up outside. Everything was WONDERFUL!

We stayed at the bungalow which is just off the deck from the main house and just a few feet from Seneca Lake. We had wonderful views of the sunrise and the lake. The bungalow is a cozy room with a queen size bed, AC, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, tv with DVD, shower, small closet, sliding glass door into the deck.
Machelle was so helpful, friendly and attentive, she paid special attention to all details. She provides a wide range of amenities, including wi-fi, a computer is available to those who didn't bring a lap top, chimena, BBQ, table & chairs, canoe, etc.
After a day at the wineries, we lit the chimena and opened a bottle of wine and looked out into the lake. It was truly a relaxing, beautiful and romantic weekend.
We are looking to return in the very near future and spend more time. The views are awesome and breakfast was superb. We highly recommend anyone to this wonderful inn.

“An Enchanting Slice of Heaven!!!!!” From the moment we arrived, the owner's attention to detail, warmth and hospitality made our stay simply amazing! The ads tout Nautical Nights as being "so close to the water that you'll feel you're on a houseboat" and that is absolutely true! Imagine the gentle waves of Seneca Lake lulling you to sleep each night and waking up to the same sound each morning...breathtaking! The B&B offers 3 rooms...two in the main house and one private bungalow adjacent to the main house. Each of the 3 rooms has a private bathroom...we stayed in "Tiny Bubbles" which featured a large bathroom with a jetted tub. Our room was pristine...exceptionally clean and welcoming. Our room as well as the other one in the main house opened directly onto a large deck that ran the length of the house and went right over the water. The breakfast buffet (delicious!) was served at the other end of the deck each morning of our stay. A kayak and canoe are provided for guest use. Another charming aspect of our stay was Tori, the canine "owner" who was great company! It is important to note that the serenity and peace of Nautical Nights is found at the end of a narrow, unpaved road that becomes quite steep at the end but it is well worth it for the beauty that awaits at the bottom! It is located right on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and almost exactly between Watkins Glen at the Southern end and Geneva to the north. My husband and I both have never had such a glorious and relaxing vacation and we are already counting the days until we can return!!!!!!
